USED CARS

Colorado is known for its rugged beauty, but I find myself drawn to a different kind of landmark: the vintage vehicles that have been left to sit across the state. This project started from a sense of nostalgia for a time I never actually experienced. I wanted to see if I could capture these cars in a way that feels like they are still in their "golden era," even as the world around them changes.

I look for scenes that feel timeless—an old sedan parked in a driveway as if it’s the only car on the block, or a wagon sitting in a forest that has slowly become part of the land itself. For me, it’s a way of looking back. While these cars may be out of use, I think they add a certain grace to the landscape. I hope these photos serve as a quiet record of these machines and the history they still hold.
